Virginia Rabenstein Obituary
Strength and honor are her clothing
Proverbs 31:10, 25-31
Virginia Lou Rabenstein (Virgie) was born in Great Bend, Kansas, September 5, 1945. A prayer warrior who went to sleep in Heavenly peace in Pittsburgh Pa. on December 18, 2023. Her commitment, and love for her husband, Roland H. Rabenstein Jr. was unwavering. They were blessed with 5 children, Roland (Trey) Rabenstein III, Theresa (Tracee), (John) Capron, Troy (Christina) Rabenstein, Todd (Tina) Rabenstein and TJ (Heather) Rabenstein.
Virginia is in a place of honor with God. She left a lasting legacy on earth by providing faith, encouraging acceptance, praising God, and most of all, serving others without expecting anything in return.
Virginia's purpose in life was to demonstrate to others the meaning of faith. It was a life that was an example of the beauty and glory of God. She taught her family, as well as others, to have gratitude and find joy everyday, in everything we are given. She never allowed life's challenges to steal her joy. Through illness, the deaths of a loved one, and with the little annoyances that happened in everyday life, she prayed, she believed, and she celebrated God's glory. She not only did that for herself, she did it for others. She provided kindness and comfort. She loved with all of her heart. She offered forgiveness and grace with ease.
She joins family in Heaven. She is with her parents Theresa (Schneweis) and Raymond Esfeld, her sister Valerie and husband Dick Schurr, and grandson Zackary Capron.
Her legacy of gratitude, joy, and love will live on through her grandchildren; Charlotte (Brad), Caleb (Annie), Roberta (Felipe), Abby, Ty, Tanner, Torrin, Aidan, Landon, Grayson,
Great grandchildren; Noah, Faith, Phoebe, Asher, Caden, Hayes, Sophia, Maxwell, Michael, Arielle, Arye, Adonai, Azaria.
She is survived by her brother Terry (Jerry) Esfeld, sister Vicky (Keith) Wood, sister and brother in laws and Dorothy Rabenstein, Bill (Mary) Rabenstein and many nieces, nephews, and long time wonderful friends.
In Spring, a time of rebirth, a mass and celebration of her life will be held.
