She attended Wolf Lake High School. Virginia worked for Central Noble Community School District as a custodian. She was a lifetime member of Wolf Lake Baptist Church.
Virginia found immense joy in her flower garden, that brought color and life to her surroundings. Her home overflowed with house plants that thrived under her careful touch. Her passion for antiquing and thrifting took her on countless adventures. Among her prized possessions, her beloved Pillsbury Doughboy collection stood out.
As an active member of her church community, she fostered connections that were meaningful and lasting. Her social nature allowed her to share stories and form friendships.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Debra Sue (Brian) Ewing, Angela Rae (Luke) Tuttle; grandchildren, Cora (Aaron) Gerringer, Derek (Maggie) Ewing, Kaeli (Dru) Himes, Logan (Jessika) Long, Terrance Egolf, and Linken Tuttle; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Rubie, Couper, Sybal and William; and great-great granddaughter, Ophylea Lou Rae; sisters, Jean Cunningham, and Phyllis (Don) Chapman. In addition to her parents Virginia was preceded in death by her grandsons, Cory and Trevor Ewing; great grandson, Owyn Gerringer; and brothers, Bill Maloney, Bob Maloney, and Ed Maloney.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm with Funeral Service at 6:00 pm Thursday, February 27, 2025, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
