Virginia Trevilian Taylor

Virginia Trevilian Taylor. 89 of Mattaponi, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior October 3, 2025. She had been a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of West Point where she had taught Sunday School classes for 68 years and served in various roles through the years. Virginia enjoyed working in her flower garden and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by two sons, Stanley and Jeff Taylor: a daughter-in-law, Connie Taylor; and ten brother and sisters. Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Lloyd Stanley Taylor; two sons Berkley and Barry Taylor; daughter-in-law Carolyn Taylor; four grandchildren, Ashley McTheny (Brett), Ben, Andrew and David Taylor; a great-granddaughter, Grace Hall; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 8th at First Baptist Church of West Point, 414 Main Street, West Point, VA 23181. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. at the church. Interment to follow in Sunny Slope Cemetery.
