Vivian Anderson McCarter, age 64, of the Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County, TN passed away Friday morning, December 1, 2023 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. Vivian is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Funeral Services for Vivian Anderson McCarter will be conducted Monday morning, December 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Lanny Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Browning Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Sunday afternoon from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m.
Family request memorials be made to the Browning Cemetery. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Gary Dean McCarter & father, Garth Anderson.
She is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Tennie & Jonathan Carver of Red Boiling Springs; son and daughter-in-law, William “Buddy” & Shelly Head of Westmoreland; grandchildren, Thatcher Carver, Dalten Wix, Will Head, & Madi Head; mother, Marie Collins Anderson of the Pine Hill Community in Clay County; sisters, Marcia Anderson of the Hermitage Springs Community, Kathy Anderson Bohanan & husband, Teddy of Red Boiling Springs; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Linda & Roger Perdue; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Darriel McCarter all of the Hermitage Springs Community, Jerry & Janet McCarter of Smithville.
