Vivian Lee Horne McDaniel

Vivian Lee McDaniel, 84, of Bladenboro passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at home surrounded by family.

 

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Horne and Bernice Butler Horne, her husband Herman McDaniel, sister Faye Horne and son, Steve “Petey” Bordeaux.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Hughlon McDaniel and Mark Bordeaux, both of the home, daughter Hope Bullard (Steve) of Maggie Valley, brother Edward Horne of Bladenboro, sister Linda Mintz of Bladenboro, one granddaughter Hannah Blandford (Johnathan) of Owensboro, Kentucky and one great granddaughter Addison Blandford.

 

Vivian was a strong-willed, hardworking lady. She adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Nature was her passion. She loved to watch the squirrels run and play and the hummingbirds come to feed at the feeders. She also enjoyed flowers and fishing. When not outdoors taking in the scenery you could find her enjoying a good western. Vivian will be missed.

 

The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 am on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Services will conclude in the Allen Cemetery in Dublin.
