Vivien Law July 12, 1944 - November 15, 2024
Vivien Law, 80, passed away on November 15, 2024 after a long battle with an illness. Born in Akron, Ohio to the late Mildred and Peter Simmons. Vivien was known for her immense kindness and devotion to her family. In her early years, she enjoyed earning her Summit Metro Parks hiking badge, taking yearly vacations around the country or one tank trips in Ohio (especially Amish country), and spending time with her family. In her later years, she enjoyed taking her dog Duke for walks, watching nature from the porch, and watching her grand-fur-babies. Vivien worked 37 years for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company before retiring and moving into a mother-in-law suite next to her daughter. Vivien was preceded in death by both of her parents, Mildred and Peter Simmons; her son, David Law; her grandson, Jonathan Rozumalski; and her brother-in-law, Charles Pringle. Vivien is survived by her daughter, Tricia (Ronald) Rozumalski; step grandson, Edward Rozumalski; sister, Barbara Pringle; Brother, Peter (Caroline) Simmons; and nieces and nephews along with many friends. Vivien will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Her family is at peace knowing she is no longer suffering any pain.
The family would like to thank the staff at Jackson Ridge Rehabilitation and Care Facility for the care given to Vivien and to Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care for making her last week as comfortable as possible. Also, special thank you to Father Mike of St. Matthew Parish.
