Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Vladimir Aleksandrovich Sushchik, passed away on August 16, 2025 in Rochester, NY, at the age of 70.
Vladimir was born on May 22, 1955 in Ukraine. He is survived by his loving wife, Nina Sushchik, and four children, Nataliya (Marek), Liliya (Michael), Alex (Angela), and Roman (Evelyna), and fourteen grandchildren.
Vladimir immigrated to the United States in 1992, at the age of 37. He was an incredibly talented and gifted artist, whose work is treasured by many.
He was a hard worker, faithful servant of God, and had a very generous heart. He loved with all of his being, devoted himself to his wife, children, and grandchildren, and made everyone he met feel loved and cared for.
In 2011, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Despite the challenges that the disease brings, he was so positive and full of life and embraced all the challenges without complaining. His passing leaves a big hole in the hearts of his loved ones and the community he was a part of.
