Von Eddie Littlejohn Jr., 55, of Rutherfordton, NC, departed this life and entered into eternal rest on July 13, 2025, following a courageous battle with leukemia.
He was born on April 24, 1970, to Carryond Miller of Rutherfordton and Von Eddie Littlejohn Sr. of Forest City, NC.
Von honorably served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring with distinction. During his military career, he served in the Persian Gulf War, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the War in Afghanistan. Following his service, he made his home in Bahrain, where he continued to serve his community as a proud member of the District Deputy Grand Master, District Seventeen Bahrain and Kuwait under the Oklahoma and its Jurisdiction Chapter.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jamey Littlejohn; his aunt, Dottie Miller; paternal grandparents, Russell and Mozelle Littlejohn; and maternal grandparents, Walter and Johnnie Mae Miller.
Von's memory will be forever cherished by his beloved son, Von Eddie Littlejohn III of Pensacola, FL; his mother, Carryond Miller Brown of Rutherfordton; and his father, Von Eddie Littlejohn Sr. (Ann) of Forest City, NC.
He is also survived by his siblings: Walter Littlejohn of Rutherfordton, Derek Shawn Littlejohn (Sherry) of Rutherfordton, Von Nicholas Littlejohn, Voncine Studyvane (Chris) of Gaffney, SC, Brooks Littlejohn (Lynette), and Jay Littlejohn, all of Forest City, NC.
