Von Joe Ringo, age 74, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, passed away on November 2, 2025.
Von Joe was born on March 28, 1951, in Sentinel, Oklahoma. He grew up with a strong sense of family, faith, and community. He attended Plains Avenue Church of Christ and was baptized in 1965 by Truman Teel-an important milestone in his life. Von Joe attended school in Dill City and graduated with the Class of 1969.
From a young age, Von Joe had a passion for fast cars and pretty girls. Ask any of his class mates. His mechanical talent became his signature-people brought their toughest problems to him because they knew he'd find a way. He loved building model cars of all kinds. More than his skills, we will remember his stories-funny, sharp, full of personality-and the way we would gather around just to hear him talk.
Von Joe is survived by his daughters Torri Lynn of Las Vegas, Nevada, and her children; and Kemesa Ringo of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and her children Josiah, Akleiah "Keke," Khlaya, Kaja, and Kaziah. He is also survived by his loving companion, Carrie Sparks; his loving sister, Nova Johnson of Dill City; and loving brother, LeVoy Ringo and wife Sheila of Dill City.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Airlene Ringo; his brother, Vaudie Ringo; his sister, Joyce Ann Williams; and brother-in-law Jimmie Johnson.
Von Joe will forever be remembered for his generous heart, his unmatched talent with cars, and the stories that made us laugh and feel connected. His hands could fix anything-but his presence is what truly made things whole.
