She was born on May 6, 1929, in Decatur, Illinois, to Edward and Mary (Constant) Gray. Vonna worked as a bookkeeper for Climate Engineers in Cedar Rapids for 30 years. She was a member of Noelridge Park Church in Cedar Rapids since 1965. Vonna loved singing in the church choir. She also served in different roles in the church throughout the years. Vonna enjoyed camping and canoeing with her family, knitting, reading, and helping others. She loved to spend time with her family and was loved by all.
Vonna is survived by her children: David (Robin) Tebussek, Jane (Garth) West; daughter-in-law, Linda Tebussek; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Tebussek; her second husband, Albert Griffin; her son, Michael Tebussek; her parents; and 10 siblings.
Memorial contributions may be given to Samaritan's Purse at samaritanspurse.org.
