Vonnie Gross Obituary
Funeral Service for Vonnie Gross will be held at 11:00am Thursday, August 7 at Stevenson Funeral Service Pastor Ted Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Beaver Lodge Cemetery in Ekalaka, MT.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Vonnie Rae Gross, 86, passed away on December 24, 2024 in Gillette, WY, surrounded by loving family members. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Ekalaka, Montana.Vonnie was born August 27, 1938 to Faith and Ed Allen in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. She graduated from Belle Fourche High School and married David Gross on July 30, 1956. Vonnie and Dave ranched in the Bell Tower area for many years where they raised their three children, Steve, Shelley, and Casey. They were very active in the community and had many friends and neighbors. In 1989, Vonnie and Dave moved to Gillette, WY to live near their children and grandchildren. Vonnie was an avid supporter of her grandkids sports activities and was very proud of them all.
Vonnie was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, husband, son Casey, a grandson, and twin great-grandsons.
She is survived by her children, Steve (Leanne) Gross, Shelley (Kevin) Rehbein, sister, Vicki Allen, nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
