W. Bert Bennett, 77, passed away on December 7, 2024, in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on December 3, 1947, in Mapleton, Utah, to James Robert Bennett and Ruby Olean Earley Bennett. On October 14, 1967, he married Eleanor Irene Mascarenaz.

Bert had a love for music, baseball, hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He dedicated many years to coaching Little League baseball and enjoyed playing catch with his son. His love for woodworking led him to spend countless hours tinkering in his wood shop.

Bert spent the majority of his career in the X-ray business, installing and repairing X-ray and processing machines. In the 1980s, he founded his first business, Specialty Labs, where he enjoyed many years of success. In 2004, he established his final company, Mountain Imaging, which allowed him to fulfill his dream of building his dream home.

Later in life, Bert enjoyed spending time with his family, playing pool, and engaging in card games. He created many fond memories fishing and enjoying nature with his grandchildren.

Bert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Bennett, and his siblings, Lloyd, Jack, Bob, Gary, Robin, and Ken.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, and his children, Chad (Jessica) and Christine (Allyson). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan (Allisan), Brady (Alissa), Alex, Kailey, and Mitchell, as well as his great-grandchildren, Noah, Liam, Eleanor, Jameson, and Sophia.
