W. Fay (Cazzell) Duke, 85, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 29, 2022 at The Meadows at Osborn Park.
Fay was born on March 2, 1937 in Wise County, TX to the late Grover and Nadine (Williams) Cazzell.
Fay retired from City of Sandusky maintenance department. She was a member of Suburban Baptist Church in Moore, OK. She enjoyed gardening, doing crafts and attending sporting events with her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Fay is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Thomas Sr.) Speer of Sandusky; son, Bertice (Brenda) Duke Jr. of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Thomas (Danielle) Jr., Jennifer (James), Lisa (Curt), Angie, Chris (Nikki), Jeff and Heather (Brad); 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Nora Colman and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Fay is preceded in death by her husband, Bertice D. Duke Sr. on March 4, 2018; daughter, Brenda Duke and twin sister, Mae Rafalka.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be held at a later date in Mellette Cemetery, Eufaula, OK. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
