To Lawrence's family: I was at the computer tonight and Lawrence's name for some reason popped into my head so I just on a whim goggled his name and was sadden to learn of his passing. I think his spirit spoke to me tonight to let me know he had passed and was safe and happy in God's hands. Lawrence, Vernon and I were friends since childhood. I have fond memories of the times when the three of us were together as kids and talked about building a raft, "Huckleberry Finn style" and paddling down the inland waterway as well as the many meals he enjoyed at my home. I think he and Vernon are having fun right now still planning that rafting trip. He was a very special person and I send my deepest sympathies. Harriet Marshall, Va Beach
