Wade Louis Bryan was born on Wednesday, October 7th, 1981, at 4:47 p.m. at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital to his mother, Mary Bryan, and father, Robert Bryan. He passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023.
Wade, a Laurel "Bulldog" graduate of the class of 1999, went on to pursue a career in sales and property management in various states, ultimately returning home to assist his family in starting a transportation business. However, Wade's first career path was as a cashier at his father's mobile station when he was no more than five years old. He had no issue telling people what they owed his dad and you dared not come close to the cash register.
Wade was best known for his people skills and ability to entertain. From large to small venues, Wade was able to work a crowd and was always known as the life of the party. Wade was always willing to host a party. After many events, if Wade's house was not the main party, it was certainly the after-party. Wade's social abilities are what led him to ultimately become the Vice President of Mary Bryan Incorporated where he helped grow a single-person operation to a booming staple in the Sussex County education community with a FLEET of vehicles and employees of over 30.
It is no secret to anyone that Wade loved to shop; not just any shopping; he loved high-end shopping. He was often seen in his Louis Vuitton, Coach, Doce & Gabana attire and quickly developed the nickname "Platinum". This love for shopping was partially fueled by his other hobby-decorating. Wade could take the blankest of canvases; house, shed, garage, vehicle, anything and transform them into a cover photo from Better Homes & Gardens. Wade was also quite the chef from desserts to meals passed down from generations; he was able to master the art of cooking to the point his services or skills would be requested from people from all walks of life. Meals or plates "only I can make" was something he loved and could not wait to see the reaction of the person consuming what he made for their reaction of how delicious it was. He also enjoyed spending time at what he called his "Sussex County Oasis", which consisted of a pool, deck, grille, pool house, volleyball area and hot tub located in his backyard.
Not only could Wade see the potential in places but he could also see the potential in people. People from all walks of life have in one way or another been touched by Wade's kindness and willingness to help. Often times he would give a stranger something he didn't even have or go without so someone did not have to. This affinity for caring for people could most closely be linked to the character he observed from his grandmothers Margaret and Beatrice. From the time he was born until these women passed away, Wade was always by their side.
Wade's spirit was something to be admired. Even in the face of extreme adversity, he would find the bright side of the situation. Wade was dealt a rough hand later in life that drastically affected his health and ability to be mobile, but even in those moments he adapted and found a way to be a light in someone's darkest hour. He was, and will forever be, loved by everyone he came into contact with.
Wade is survived by his mother, Mary Bryan; father, Robert Bryan; brothers, Jerry and Tyler; sister, Sherri; daughter, Alexis; and sons, Trent and Parker

Nature´s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf´s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.

Every memory I have of Wade is a favorite. Guessing where or when he would go or be next was always exciting, but everywhere he went he had a friend, I am blessed to be one of them. See you again
