I had the ultimate privilege of being Wade´s third grade teacher. I have very fond memories of his love of gymnastics and his family. His grandfather (my family´s own vet) came in to talk to our class for the Great American Teach-In, and I recall the pride Wade had in his grandfather and the bond they shared. I´m very sad to hear of his passing- very sorry that I didn´t know sooner to be able to pay my respects. May he rest in peace and fly with the angels. Praying for all that love him and all that struggle. Sending my sincere condolences.

My deepest condolences to Wade's family, such a wonderful kid lost to this disease. Watching his mother and sister tell Wade's story brought me here. Though he is physically not here anymore, just know his soul, his beingness is still present and very much alive, death is the opposite of birth, Life has no opposite. Peace.
I am Anton Fernando from Ottawa, Canada.

I'm a 45 yr old woman from Texas. I watched Wade's story several times. I paused and stared at that beautiful smile of a young man I have never met and listened to the words of a mother who was strong and fighting for her son. Thank you Wade, because of you, I opened up to my family and admitted myself to get help...finally! I'm so sad you are gone but I realized I want to live too. I think when your mother released all those butterflies, each one had a piece of you and you set out to help as many people as you can and you still are! Thank you Wade!, Thank you Wade!,Thank you Wade!
Forever Grateful,
Shannon

I watched Wade´s story on YouTube and you could just tell that he came from a family of really good people, I´m so sorry for your loss! In all of his photos, and especially the video of him playing the guitar, he just had a aura of goodness about him and a smile that brightened a room. I´m sending prayers of healing and peace to the family. I lost my dad in Dec 2023, and it was really hard, but no where near what you must be feeling. I´m sure your story will save lives, and for that, you are a hero in my book.

I saw Megan Green tell her story. Just heartbreaking for any mother to go through this. Her and her family are in my prayers and God give them peace.
