Wade Horne Obituary
L. Wade Horne, age 92, of Atlantic passed away Tuesday evening November 11, 2025, in his residence.
He was born in Conneaut Lake on May 26, 1933, the son of Lyle M. and Mariam (Coulter) Horne.
He was a 1951 graduate of Pymatuning Joint High School and served his country in the United States Army.
Wade married the former Carole Young on October 20, 1956, she passed away January 29, 2025.
He was employed at Trinity Industries, Greenville for 40 years and was also a school bus driver for many years.
He is survived by four children, Daryl Horne of Atlantic, Rod Horne and wife Ann of Espyville, Alan Horne and wife Maggy of Sharpsville, and Kim Mead and husband Randy of Conneaut Lake: two grandchildren, Krista and Dalton Mead, three great-grandsons, Walker Mead, Asher Mead, and Wyatt Vakasy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, Arlen Horne and Gary Horne.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.
