Celebrating the incredible life of Wallace R. Coile! He is survived by his wife of 69 years Joyce Coile; 3 Children, Karen Starns of Chattanooga, Cheryl Geren, and Gary Coile, both of Knoxville, 10 Grand Children and 7 Great Grandchildren.
Wallace R Coile was born on December 29, 1935. He graduated from Bradley High School in 1955 and at the young age of 26 became a Real Estate Broker. He was a true entrepreneur, and no one enjoyed the art of the deal more than Wallace Coile. With hard work and unequaled integrity, Wallace not only sold residential and commercial real estate, but was also a successful builder and developer. He owned several apartments and hotels during his long and distinguished career before retiring in 2003.
In addition to his passion for business, there was nothing he loved more than his family. He adored his wife Joyce, and his children and grandchildren were the light of his life. Even with all the success Wallace achieved in the business world, there was nothing that made him prouder than the voices of his grandchildren and great grandchildren addressing him as "Deet-Dad" or "Deets". This was a man that loved life, and truly believed that the harder one worked at any task, the luckier they would become. These words he spoke often.
Wallace will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved with his whole heart, and without saying a word, he showed that love unreservedly. His smile was infectious and his voice kind and gentle. A Christian man from a young age, Wallace valued his faith, and was a true example of integrity, kindness, patience, gentleness, hope and love. To summarize the person of Wallace R Coile one could simply turn to scripture.
1 Corinthians 13:4–8a (ESV) Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.
