My condolences Jan and the entire Lamb family on your loss. I have very fond memories of Wally. My dad Andy and Wally became close friends. As a result my Mom and Jan and our entire family all became friends.
I have fond memories of driving to Warren to visit. I remember the big white house and all the fun we had there growing up.
The last time I saw Wally was when Barry, my Mom and I drove to the Canada/USA border to meet up for lunch. We had a great visit.
Wally was a great man. May he forever rest in peace.

I have been talking with Wally on the radio at least weekly since 1966. He was my first contact when I set up a station on my own in 1974. So many good memories of Wally !
He was highly respected by other ham radio operators and he is being missed by so many. He was a good friend to me and my father Andy.
In 1965 he gave a presentation in Winnipeg on his reception of moon bounce signals from Puerto Rico that inspired me to do that in 1974 and to the present day.
I was so lucky to see him again one last time in December after the big COVID isolation period with closing of the border.
I offer my sincerest condolences to Jan & the family for your loss. We share in your pain.

Our condolences to the Lamb family. I first met Wally at the annual International Peace Garden Hamfest in 1966. I was 11 years old and continued to see Wally there for many years. Starting in the 1980´s we worked Wally many times on the vhf & uhf bands. Wally was a perfect gentleman and well respected in the hobby of amateur radio.

Jan, my heart breaks for you and your family. Pat and I have so enjoyed our friendship for all these many years. I thank you both for your kindness and have so treasured the time I shared with you and Wally. Saddened to hear of Wally's passing, as a young kid I remember him as friendly gentle man. My father Andy always looked forward to meeting and spending time with Wally as ham radio hobbyists.
