Wallace Earl Saunders, 87, of Crosland, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Albritton officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service.

Born on December 27, 1937, in Norman Park, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Washington Saunders and Lola Mae Williams Saunders. Mr. Saunders was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouses, Donnelle Roberds Saunders and Hilda Valera Gay Saunders; son, Kris Edwin Saunders; and siblings, Noel Saunders, James Saunders, Norman Saunders, Dilburn Saunders, Harry Saunders, Edna Gay, Nettie Durrance, Ruthell Chambers, and Mae Retha Rippeon.

Mr. Saunders is survived by his sons, Brent Saunders and Sueleen of Cummings, Georgia, Steve Saunders and wife Janet of Crosland; step son, David Hall and Tammy Osborn of Highland City, Florida; daughter-in-law, Mary Saunders; grandchildren, Jessica Saunders, Chase Saunders and wife Nidia, Laura Saunders, Nicole Alderman, Jackson Hall, and Landon Hall; great grandchildren, Gage Barajas and wife Rose, Gabriel Barajas, Damian Barajas, Jonathan Rodriguez, Noah Saunders, and Lucas Saunders; great-great grandson, Kohen Barajas.
