It is with both earthly sadness and God's comforting peace that we announce Angie and Walt Bielefeldt have gone to their eternal reward.
Angelene Eleanor Bielefeldt was born on February 15, 1942, in Pasadena, TX, to Edward and Gertrude Kieke. She was called home on March 3, 2025, at the age of 83. She was the oldest of 4 children, having 2 sisters and 1 brother. She graduated with honors from South Houston High School and Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. She went on to have a long and rewarding career as a teacher. She loved reading books and baking.
Walter Fredrick Bielefeldt was born on August 23, 1941, in Sealy, TX, to Walter and Paula Bielefeldt. He was called home on March 8, 2025, at the age of 83. He was the 2nd oldest of 7 children, having 5 sisters and 1 brother. He graduated from Pasadena High School and Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. Walt had a long and successful career in the hydraulic hose industry. He loved playing dominoes and working in his yard.
Walt and Angie were married June 5, 1963, and had a wonderful 61-year marriage. The love of Jesus that they shared with their children and grandchildren was the foundation of a great family dynamic. Although each of them pursued fulfilling and successful careers, they always put their children and grandchildren first, ensuring that family remained the center of their lives. Their legacy is one of compassion, generosity, and an enduring devotion to those they loved.
Walt and Angie are survived by their children Wally (Corinne) Bielefeldt and Cheryl (Joe) Cordova, grandchildren Branden (Baley) Bielefeldt, and great grandson Boden Bielefeldt, Cassie (fiancé, Josh Walls) Cordova, Joseph Cordova, Jacob Bielefeldt, Joshua (Jasnia) Cordova, Camryn Cordova, Angie's sister Barbara (Jim) Winston and brother Bill (Janet) Kieke, Walt's brother James Bielefeldt, and sisters Margaret (Gus) Jacob, Paula Bielefeldt, Mary (LaRue) Ave-Lallemant, and brother-in-law Ron Boerger, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Walt and Angie were greeted in heaven by their parents, along with Angie's sister Mary McCorquodale, and Walt's sisters, Lois Boerger and Beth Lorenz, and brother-in-law Victor Lorenz.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 10 am at Trinity Klein Lutheran Church, 5201 Spring Cypress Rd., Spring, Texas. Lunch to follow.
