Obituary of Kimberly Ann McWilliams Bushman
Kimberly Ann McWilliams Bushman, aka Kim, Kimbo, Kimmy, Nana, The Smallest Big Sister in Texas, and the Foozball Queen, came into the world on August 26, 1956, born to Tommy and Sandy McWilliams in Houston, Texas. Never to be outdone by any of her brothers or others in her life. She was a talented water skier (slalom), hunter (not her sport of choice as she was a dedicated animal lover), fisherman, and motorcycle rider in the Powder Puff Motorcycle team. She also studied dance with Hallie Pritchard Dance School and was quite the tapper!
After graduating from South Houston High School in 1974, she earned her Barber's Certificate. She loved her role as a hairdresser, and eventually became a top salesman multiple times selling beauty product supplies with Armstong McCall. Kim cherished family and was devoted to her daughters Brittany, Makenzie, and Heather. She often opened her home to anyone in need, and loved prepping meals or doing what she could for others. Though titled "It's Good to be Queen", she was a servant at heart. She was recently baptized in the lovely waters of the Blanco River in "Kimberley's Wimberley", so we know she is at peace with her Maker.
Kim is survived by daughters Brittany Jackson, Makenzie Scott and Heather Bullock, sons-in-law Jeremiah Jackson and Zach Scott and grandchildren James Jackson (age 8) and Scarlett Scott (age 2). She is also survived by her Aunt and Uncle Debbie and Richard Koctar of Houston; sister Melissa McWilliams and her fiance' Ronnie Kutach of Lago Vista, TX; brother and sister-in-laws Ty and Melanie McWilliams and Chris and Lacey McWilliams of the Pearland/Friendwood areas, and Curt McWilliams of League City. She has a huge family of multiple cousins, nieces and nephews scattered around Texas, which she made every effort to remain in close contact with. A great (and BOSSY) sister, we will all miss her. Until we meet again, Kim! A Memorial will be held at the home of Curt McWilliams on Sunday, July 20th2025 from 4-6 PM, open house style (no formal service). Finger food refreshments will be served.
