Walter L. Bickford Jr.

SEABROOK, NH - The family of Walter L. Bickford Jr, wishes to announce his passing on Monday, December 08, 2025. Walter Bickford, Jr. passed away at his home, with the love of his life, his wife Theresa, by his side. Born on April 30, 1950, in Amesbury, MA, he was the son of Barbara (Eaton) Bickford and the late Walter Bickford, Sr. Walter grew up in Seabrook and attended Winnacunnet High School. He left Winnacunnet High School at the age of 17 to proudly serve in the US Army. During his time in service, Walter deployed to both Vietnam and Korea.
Walter was loved by everyone who knew him. He had a steady, relentless sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. His kindness and quick wit won him the hearts of everyone he met. He enjoyed time outdoors, especially hunting, clamming, and lobstering, and he treasured every moment with his family. He loved them deeply, and his grandchildren and great-grandson adored him.
In addition to his wife, Theresa (Bonenfant) Bickford, he is survived by his mother, Barbara Bickford; his sister, Darlene Brown; his daughters, Barbara and her husband Mike Gallagher, and Danielle McLain; his sons, Walter "Punk" Bickford III and his wife Tonya, and Derek Bickford and his wife Heather. He also leaves seven grandchildren-Zachary, Melissa, TJ, Patrick, Jasmyne, Lillyana, and Jace-and three great-grandsons, Logan, Nolan and David. He was predeceased by his father, Walter Bickford, Sr., and his brothers Kim, Keith, and Hiram Bickford.
Funeral arrangements are being completed by Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant Street, Epping, NH 03042. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. with a service following starting at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Following services, a comfort meal and reception at the Epping Legion at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
