Walter Bowline

Walter Bailey Bowline III passed away on December 1st, 2025. He was born on 10/18/1943 in Selma, Alabama where he grew up and eventually graduated from Auburn University before embarking upon a professional career that brought him to Cumming GA several decades ago, where he lived & thrived. He founded North Georgia Brick out of the trunk of his car in the early 1980s, which went on to become one of the most successful brick companies in the state and is still in operation today. In the latter part of that decade, after moving on from NGB he started Precision Millworks Inc in Cumming with eight emplyees, a company that still operates and has now grown to 80+ employees and is in its 37th year of operation. Along the way, he earned the respect and friendship of his peers, employees and others from all walks of life. A loving son, father, husband, brother, grandfather & great-grandfather as well as friend, Bailey will be sorely missed by all he has left behind. He is survived by his brother Joe Bowline, niece Key Bowline, nephews Charlie Pollack & Carl "Bo" Bowline, his wife JoEllen McKinney Trammell, his son Walter Bailey "Beaver" Bowline IV, daughter Laura Reynolds Bowline, step-sons Charles & David Church, grandsons Ryder Bowline & Gray Bowline, grandchildren Frances Johnson, Charlotte Johnson, Bailey Johnson & Grace Johnson, step-granddaughter Hannah Church, daughters in law Caroline & Katie Bowline, son in law Moses Johnson & great-grandson Hank Bowline.
