Walter Beverly Dennis
July 7, 1937 - November 11, 2025
Walter Beverly Dennis, age 88, a resident of Mobile, AL and former resident of Natchez, MS passed away on November 11, 2025. Walter was born in Grand Bay, AL and graduated from Murphy High School in 1955. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and Zoology in 1962 and a master's degree in wildlife management in 1968. He loved working in forestry with International Paper Company for over 30 years. He was a loving husband and father.
Walter was predeceased by his mother Beulah Dennis, his father Harry Beverly Dennis and his wife Marilou Lipp Dennis. He is survived by his daughter Beverly Dennis Cleverdon (John), his son Walter Joseph Dennis, his daughter Robbin Dennis and stepchildren. He is also survived by his granddaughters Jordan Dennis Linton (Michael), Kimberly Dennis and his great granddaughter Emmerson Linton.
Walter's funeral will be held on Friday November 14 at 10:00am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:00am.
