Walter Hankins Obituary
Jack was born August 12, 1939, in East Alton, IL, a son of Jack Ross and Catherine Hankins. He was a member of the United States Air Force. He married Judith Mueller on September 25, 1965, in Alton, IL.
He enjoyed fishing, golf, John Wayne movies, and antique shopping. He especially liked spending time with his family.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John, Russell, and Burton Hankins, and sister, Faye Newby.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 13, 2026, at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of Valor, Carlinville, IL.
Jack is survived by his spouse, Judith Ann Hankins of Carlinville, IL, son, Michael (Lisa) Hankins of MO, son, Aaron (Sarah) Hankins of Rosewood Heights, IL, son, Kevin Hankins of IN, grandchildren, Amanda Hankins, Brody Hankins, and Parker Hankins, step-grandchildren Kylinn Boyer and Colton Boyer, great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Camden, Maiden, and sister, Rosemary Osburn.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 680 Craig Rd #300, St. Louis, MO 63141.
Davis-Anderson Funeral Homes, Carlinville is in charge of arrangements.
