Walter Thomas “Tom” James, age 87, of Clinton, widower of Dorothy “Dot” James, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Hospice of Laurens County.
Born August 26, 1938 in Clinton, SC, Tom was the son of the late Charlie Tarrant and Eva Bell Hill James.
Tom is survived by his sons, Michael James (Tess), and Josh James; his brothers, George James, and Russell James; and his grandchildren, Nicki Honeycutt, Jonathan Honeycutt (Brittany), and Kendall James.
In addition to his parents and wife, Tom was preceded in death by his children, Dennis James, Tim James, and Sheila Garner; and his siblings, Bob James, and Jean Harris.
A Private Graveside Service was held for family at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
