Walter W. "Butch" Kley

Walter "Butch" W. Kley, age 78 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 7, 2024. He was born March 2, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio son of the late Walter C. and Irene M. (Stutz) Kley.
Walter was a devoted husband, loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed Buckskinning, numerous hobbies, gardening, cane making, jewelry making, blacksmithing, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Hammer.
Walter is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet Kley; children, Kimberle (Timothy) Charles, Chris (Jim) Kley, and Laura (Maria) Hottinger; siblings, Phyllis Taylor, John (Cindy) Kley, Brenda Shemo; step-grandsons, James, John, and Timothy jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as several other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin at 1:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Walters honor to Newcomer Funeral Home to assist with arrangements.
