Walter Alan Luckinbill, 67-year-old White Oak resident, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at home. He was born on August 5, 1957, in Emmetsburg, Iowa to Warren and Cordella (Ray) Luckinbill. After graduation from high school, Walter worked for many years in the logging industry and later burying fiber optic line, until becoming disabled due to a kidney issue.
Walter raised his two children, Cody and Kayanna, as a single dad and it was always the three of them together: a very tight knit family. Walter also had a sense of humor and especially enjoyed picking on his son-in-law, Justin. Most of all, Walter loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved deeply and will be missed.
Walter is survived by his children, Cody Luckinbill and wife, Christy, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kayanna Beaty and husband, Justin, of Porter, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Samuel Luckinbill, Tucker Beaty, Micah Luckinbill, Gracelyn Beaty, Elijah Beaty, and William Luckinbill; and sisters, Ramona DelMoral and husband, Mario, of Florida, and Shirley Traina of Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Arthur Ray Luckinbill; sister, Carol Sampson; and brothers-in-law, Chic Traina and Sonny Sampson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 18, 2025, in Fairland Cemetery, Fairland, Oklahoma with Pastor Leland Bartlett officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemoriesvinita.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. “Family owned.
