Walter "Walt" Mueller, 82, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2022. Love of Linda Dempsey's life; Father of Gregory (Deborah), Cheryl O'Brien (William), Sandra Badowski (Gregory) and Jeffrey Dempsey (Mary Jo); Grandfather of Zachary and Corin Mueller; Ryan (Shelby), Aaron, Allyson and Kirsten Badowski; Conor and Kennedy O'Brien; Morgan, Drew and Jake Dempsey; Great-grandfather of Elizabeth Badowski; Son of the late Harry and Eleanor (nee Brown); Brother of Verda Crim (Bob) and Kenneth (Linda); and friend to many.
Those that knew Walt will remember him as Linda's better half, an insurance agent (34 years with Allstate Insurance), a cowboy, a fisherman, a handyman, a craftsman, a traveler, a theatre lover, a snowbird, the king of the one liner, the life of the party and a great friend. But there is no name he loved more than "Grandpa" or "Papa". His grandchildren were the light of his life, he was their biggest cheerleader - traveling near and far to sporting events, concerts and plays - each one knew they were special by the nickname he gave them. Walt and Linda enjoyed 36 years of "significant otherhood" - traveling to multiple continents, snowbirding between North Royalton and Sun City South Carolina, hosting an annual Good Friday Fish Fry, playing cards and attending the theatre.
in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Walt's name to the Southwest General Hospice, https://www.swgeneral.com/ways-to-give/give-now/. Funeral services private. Cremation by Busch Crematory. (440) 842-7800. www.buschcares.com.
