Walter Wayne Mullikin

Walter Wayne Mullikin, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in Waynesboro, Georgia. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Gray Memorial Chapel and Crematory, 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032, with Billy McLean and Logan Mullikin officiating.
Walter was born on May 19, 1977, in Perry, Georgia, to the late Brenda Mullikin. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Otis Ralph Mullikin Jr., and his sister, Ida Blalock.
Walter lived life to the fullest and cherished every moment with his family. He was a man who taught his children the importance of patience and the true meaning of love. Known for his playful spirit, Walter had a gift for making others laugh-often by lovingly picking on those he loved most. He will be remembered as loud, fun, dependable, and always willing to help anyone in need. He was kind, funny, thoughtful, handy, compassionate, devoted and full of joy--a man whose presence brought light to everyone around him.
Walter is survived by his loving wife of seventeen years, Ashley Mullikin; his father, Otis Ralph Mullikin Sr.; his children, McKenzie (Domenic) Hartley, Logan, Madison, Kylee, Kyra, and Layton Mullikin; and his cherished grandchildren, Westin and Wrenlee Hartley. He is also survived by his siblings, Patrick (Donna Chance) Mullikin, Dwayne (China) Mullikin, and Victoria Endrias; nephews, Joshua Blalock and Vince (Sue) Blalock and Frankie Endrais and Travis McCorkie; and parents-in-law, Linda and James McWilliams, along with many other extended family members and friends.
