Walter Patrick Reilly, 88, of Green Brook Regional Center, Green Brook, NJ, passed away on October 3, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Somerville, NJ. Walter Patrick was born in Newark, NJ. He lived at home in Glen Ridge, NJ, before moving to Woodbine Developmental Center in Woodbine, NJ. Walter Patrick then resided at Woodbridge Developmental Center, Woodbridge, NJ. For the past eleven years he lived at Green Brook Regional Center, Green Brook, NJ.

Walter Patrick was predeceased by his parents Walter Patrick and Ruth (nee Woisard) and three brothers: Paul, David and Philip. He is survived by three sisters: Mary Ann Zimmer, Brielle, NJ, Ellen Reilly, Waldwick, NJ and Elizabeth Reilly, Fairlawn, NJ. He is survived by four brothers: Peter and his wife, June, of Tannersville, Pa., Stephen and his wife, Deborah, of Gatlinburg, TN, Joseph and his wife, Anna, of Toms River, NJ, and John and his wife, Regina, of Mercerville, NJ.

Viewing will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Vander Platt Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. 9:45 am Chapel visitation followed by 10:30 am Mass of Christian burial at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
