He was a great friend to me. He took me to San Juan to get double laser surgery. He took me to the main Island to buy a car and then when it arrived on VIEQUES, picked it up and drove it to my home. We had lunch at least once a week. He allowed me to live with several of his paintings. When he moved back to CT, he was truly missed.
