Walter Nolen Stacker began his journey through life September 5, 1954, in Cumberland City, TN. He was born to the union of Nolen Fletcher and Pauline Althea (Morrison) Stacker, both parents have proceeded him in death. Walter was the eighth child of ten siblings; eight of which have also preceeded him in death.
Walter attended school in the Stewart County School System. At a young age, he accepted Christ, and he was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church. Over the years he relocated, but he found his way back home and in 2016, he re-dedicated his life to Christ and became an active member of his home church where he worked as an usher in the house of the Lord.
Walter was a country boy, and he loved being outdoors. He worked many years for the Clarksville Ready Mix and as a concrete worker. He also spent many years doing farm work. Walter, known as Blue Dolla to family and friends, was loved by many, and his presence brought smiles and laughter wherever he went. He always greeted you with that familiar smile, and he never left without saying, “I love you”. He will truly be missed by his family and friends, and we will never forget his favorite lines, “Like I said!” and “Eggg-xactly!”. Now he has reunited with the ones he loved first.
Walter peacefully departed this life on Friday, November1, 2024, at home with family which was his last request. He leaves to cherish many great memories, his wife, Kathy Stacker, his children: daughter, Tamara Stacker, and sons, Juan (Christine) Kizer, Phayzon White, and Kyreh White. He also leaves his sister, Darlene Fontanez, and his dedicated nephew Jimmy Stacker and his wife Landy Stacker who devoted special time and care when he needed it the most. Walter was blessed with 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
