Walter E. Taylor, 93, of Aurora, Colorado passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024.
He was born to the late Thomas and Bertha Taylor on July 18, 1931, in Princeton, NJ. Walter graduated from Princeton High School and received a BA in Business from Metropolitan State College of Denver. He married his wife, the late Claudine Taylor, in 1953.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 25 years starting in 1950. He then worked in Civil Service (Defense / Finance for 20 years and ended his working career as a Sous Chef for Aramark (Broncos / Rockies).
Walter is survived by his son, Walter H. Taylor and daughter-in-law, Sandra Garcia and family (Stephanie, Pete and Kamille Maj). He is also survived by his brother, Robert Taylor and in-laws Lucille O'Bannon, R.D. Harper and wife, Retha, and Rayfield Harper Jr. and wife, Doris.
A viewing will be held at the Newcomer East Metro Chapel from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Services will begin at 12:00 pm noon with a reception to follow.
