Walter James Voytek

VOYTEK- Walter James Voytek, age 88, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 24, 2016 in Fort Walton Beach, FL. He was born July 24, 1928 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania to Andrew and Anna (Cotshck) Voytek. Walter was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII. He worked as an Electronics Engineer for most of his career. Walter enjoyed playing golf as well as watching it on TV. He also enjoyed flying as a pilot of small aircraft and in his younger years even owned his own airplane. Later Walter continued to enjoy flying but virtually on his computer where he would visit destinations around the world. Walter will be remembered for always wearing a smile and for his jovial manner. Walter leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife of 40 years Carolyn M. Voytek; son Walter James Voytek II (Kathi); two daughters Sandra Janice (Alan Ficarra) and Tracie Ireland (Martin); grandson Cody Ficarra.
