Wanda Mae (Ullery) Blauch, 85, of Short Gap, WV, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at Dawn View Nursing Home.
Born April 30, 1939, in Ridgeley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ilda (Shanholtz) Ullery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ed Ullery, Irvin Ullery, and Kaye O'Neal.
Wanda was a case worker for the WV Dept of Health and Human Services for 30 years. She was very active with her church communities, and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Christie Kirk and husband Jerry, Kim Saunders and husband Eric Marcus; grandchildren, Shawna Kirk, Marsha Phillips, Conner Saunders, and Emma Saunders; great-grandchildren, Orion, Haven, Laurel, Valley; her sisters, Faye Twigg and Darla Copeland and husband Terry; sister-in-law's, Darlene Ullery, Loretta Thomas and Darlene Gulino; and a large extended family including many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 15205 McMullen Highway, Cresaptown on Friday, September 13th from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 with Pastor Phillip Matthews officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland, MD.
