A Funeral service celebrating the life of Wanda Brown, 63, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2024, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home 943 Polk St. Mansfield, Louisiana with Bro. Steve Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery in Catuna, Louisiana. The family will receive family and friends from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Wanda was born on May 10, 1961, in Mansfield, Louisiana to Lee F. Jackson and Betty Jean Lee Jackson and passed away on September 15, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Wanda was preceded in death by parents, Lee and Betty Jean Jackson, and brother, Travis Jackson.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jimmie Brown; daughters, Mary Rougely and Dena Whittington and husband Jeremy; grandchildren, Foster Rougely III, Malaya Rougely, and Elijah Whittington; great grandchildren, Jordan Phillips and Destin Phillips Jr; special Aunt Rosie Taylor and Uncle Frank Lee; son-in-law Foster Rougely, Jr. and fur babies Jake and Hanna.
Honoring Wanda as pallbearers will be Foster Rougely III, Foster Rougely, Jr., Jeremy Whittington, Destin Phillips, and Lawrence Blunt.
