Wanda Crane, 81, of Louisville Kentucky passed away Monday, April 7, 2025. She was born in Stoner Creek, KY on April 8, 1943 to Helen and Finis McDonald.
She was a straight A student and cheerleader at duPont Manual High School, and she turned down several scholarship offers to marry and accompany her new husband in his navy assignments in Hawaii and Midway Island.
Wanda is survived by her mate for life (62 years) and the love of her life, Wendell (Bud) Crane, 3 children, Mark Crane (Nita), Amanda Janes (Thomas), Jeff Crane (Andrea), 4 grandchildren, Adam Crane, Wesley Crane, Jonathan Janes, and Seth Crane, and 3 sisters.
Visitation for Wanda will take place at Louisville Memorial Gardens East on Monday April 14, 2025 from 11:00am until 2:00pm. Funeral service will take place at 2:00pm with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
