Mrs. Wanda 'Neicey' Davis Obituary "Death is a joyful messenger of peace whose kind hands open to the weary pilgrim the gate of immortality and let the oppressed go free, free from pain, free from sorrows, and from suffering."
Wanda Denise "Neicey" Davis passed into enteral rest November 30, 2024 at her residence after a brief illness.
Neicey was born July 26, 1963 in Bulloch County, GA to the late James and Thelma T. Lonon. She was a 1982 graduate Southeast Bulloch High School. During her time there, she developed a love for basketball. She was a retired medical records coordinator and employed as a substitute teacher of Bulloch County School System. At an early age she joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. When you see need a do it was a motto she lived by. In her spare time she was found to be helping others.
She was preceded in death by her brother Hollis Ray Tremble and neice Nameka "Cece" Jackson.
She leaves behind to a devoted and loving husband of 35 years, Jerome C. Davis of Statesboro, Ga.; three children: Kendrick D. Lonon of McDonough, Ga., Jewanda S. Davis and Maliki J. Jackson both of Statesboro, Ga.; two sisters: Blanche Moore and Carolyn (Craig) McCrae, both of Statesboro, Ga.; three brothers: Leon (Alexandria) Lonon, Ronnie (Sandra) Lonon, both of Statesboro, Ga., Lloyd (Bennie) Tremble of Savannah, Ga., a loving stepmother: Nellie C. Lonon,; step-siblings: Shirley Colbert, Joyce (Alexander) Brown, Georgia Sampson, Helen Colbert, Tracy Colbert, Gloria (Johnathan) Barnes, all of Statesboro, GA., Wanda (William) Strickland of Chattanooga, TN, Cece Jordan of Atlanta, Ga., Angela (Raymon) Lester of Lithonia, Ga., Larry (Tina) Colbert, Austin Leve (Erica) Colbert, both of Statesboro, Ga.; sister-in-laws Penneye Tremble of Statesboro, Ga., Glenda (Chris) White of Jacksonville, Fl., Brenda Ellis of McDonugh, Ga., Della Harris, Dean (Andre) Harris, Lynette (Hector) Tyler all of Long Island, New York,; brothers-in-law Bobby (Pat) Rogers of Atlanta, Ga., Alford (Valerie) Davis of Maryland, and Ricky Harris of Long Island, New York; sisters-in-love DeNise Mike, of Maryland and Veronica Smalls, of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren: Kennedi Lonon, Kamren Lonon, Kashmere Lonon Josiah Lonon, Karter Lonon, Jiya Davis, Jaxsyn Williams, Nadia Moody, Kashmere Lonon; an aunt: Carolyn Hardy, of New Jersey, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home Chapel, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, GA 30458.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 1:00p.m. at First Baptist Church, 108 North Main Street, Statesboro, GA 30458. Rev. Dr. Richard Lawrence, Pastor and Rev. Craig R Tremble, Eulogist.
Interment will be held at Bulloch Memorial Gardens, 22002 US-80, Statesboro, GA 30459.
The celebration of life service will be live-streamed via Facebook address www.facebook.com/Craig-R-Tremble-Funeral-Homes-Inc.
Friends may sign the online register book at www.craigrtremblefuneralhome.com.
You may send flowers to the family through the floral store on our website. An independent florist will make delivery according to your instructions.
