Wanda F. McIntosh-Hicks Obituary
She was born on February 11, 1932, and was blessed with a long and full life surrounded by family and friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her first husband, Vembert McIntosh, her late husband, Chester Hicks, and four beloved sons, Gary McIntosh, Larry McIntosh, Greg McIntosh and Garry Hicks.
She is survived by her children: Debra (Tim) Botts, Theresa (Eugene) Alcorn, Patricia (Andy) Kalen, Vanessa Thomas, Veda (Ronald) Burkhart, Velma (Scott) Pennix, and Glenn (Kathy) Hicks.
Wanda's greatest joy was her family. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering kindness, and gentle spirit.
A visitation will be held at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue in Middletown, Ohio, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 21, 2025, starting 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown, Ohio.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Margaret Mary Hospice of Batesville, Indiana for their compassion and care during Wanda's final days.
Wanda will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
