Funeral services for Wanda "Sue" Fowler will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home with Josh Hutt, Robby Davis, and Chris Walker officiating. Burial will follow the service in Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday.

Wanda Sue Fowler, beloved mother and Nonnie, entered her heavenly home on September 6, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James Fowler; her daughter, Cindy; her parents, Chalmer and Claudia Brown; her sister, Charlotte Tumlin; her brothers, Jimmy (Paulette) Brown and Don Brown; and her in-laws, James and Agnes Fowler.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carol (Davy) Harcrow; son-in-law, Mike Pope; her grandchildren, Brandon (Haley) Harcrow, Cody (Josh) Hutt, Brooke (Robby) Davis, and Chase (Hannah) Pope; great-grandchildren, Case, Lainey Kate, Briggs, and Benjamin Hayes Harcrow, Brayden, Ridge, Colt, and Carter Davis, Presley, Henry, and soon to arrive, Ila Pope; her brother-in-law, Jim Tumlin; her sister-in-law, Vera (Gerald) Westmoreland; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Nonnie lived a life full of faith, love, and joy. She had a deep love for gospel music, decorating her home for every holiday, and discovering treasures at thrift stores. She found companionship and laughter with her Sunday School friends of over 40 years at North Glencoe and her church family at Cross Creek Community Church, where she was a devoted member, and part of the sisters Sunday school class. Her faithful pets, her dog Ruthie, and her parrot, Pepper, brought her much comfort and joy.

Above all, Nonnie loved her Lord and lived as a shining example of Christian faith and devotion. Her marriage was a true reflection of love and commitment, and her life served as an inspiring testimony to her family of what a Godly Walk and partnership should be.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace in Heaven, reunited with her loved ones, and in the presence of her Savior. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

The family would like to thank ACG Hospice, Amy Clough, Lori Kirk, and Raven Lankin for taking such amazing care of our mother and Nonnie.

Also, a special thanks is extended to Monik Macon and Chaneeka Thomas for loving and caring for our Nonnie over the years.

Pallbearers will be Davy Harcrow, Mike Pope, Brandon Harcrow, Chase Pope, Josh Hutt, Robby Davis, and Brayden Davis.
