Helen Sue (Snyder) Fowler, 72 of Morgantown, WV passed away peacefully at her son's home surrounded by loved ones on September 13, 2025. Reuniting with not only her husband, but finally walking hand in hand with her daughter as she begins her time in Heaven where there is no more sorrow, no more pain. She was born May 19, 1953, the daughter of the late Murl and Leola (Savage) Snyder. She is now reunited with her husband George Eldon Fowler whom she was married to for over 40 years and daughter Dawn Renee Fowler.
Helen was a cashier for many years in such places as Hills, Ames, Bilo Foods, and finally Kroger until she retired from her job to take care of her husband. Everyone always enjoyed their times with her and the way she showed love and kindness to everyone she knew as a woman of God. After her husband passed she enjoyed times with her son and his wife, along with her grandkids.
As she goes home to be with the Lord, she will be leaving behind her son, Gregory Eldon Fowler and spouse April; grandchildren, Mark Anthony Harris and Michela Dawn Fowler. Helen is also survived by her brother Ken Snyder and wife Nancy of Uniontown, PA, and sister Ida Fizer and spouse Ralph of Sinking Spring, Ohio. Helen is also preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Moore, Thelma Lambert, Mary Auvil, Betty Dixon, Janet Starcher, Beulah Hughes, Virginia Dixon, and Debra Miller and brothers, Francis, Lenzie and Donald Snyder.
Friends and family will gather at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, from 4 - 8 PM and again on Thursday from 10 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Joe Adams officiating. Her interment will take place at Arnettsville Cemetery.
