A funeral service for Wanda Joy Hurley is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange with interment following at the Winchester City Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday prior to the funeral service (967 E. Colorado St. La Grange, Texas 78945).
Mrs. Wanda Joy Hurley, née Snider, was born on the 28th of June, 1930 in Snyder, Texas to Allen Prosper and Bertha Mae Snider. Wanda was the wife of Edward Hurley, who preceded her in death on May 19, 2008. During her life, she worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, handled insurance in the medical field, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her three children, Ken, Don, and Joanne; her grandchildren, James, Katie, John, Jennifer, Adam, Sheri, and Charles; and her great-grandchildren, Isaac, Ian, Sebastian, Giuliana, Taylor, Kayla, Charlotte, Emily, Charles Jr., and Karen. She is missed by all.
