Wanda H. Jones, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at the age of 79, in Orange Park, Florida. Born on March 6, 1946, in Jacksonville, Florida, Wanda was a passionate and dedicated individual who made significant contributions throughout her life.

Wanda's career as a technical writer in the aviation industry showcased her exceptional talent and meticulous attention to detail. She was respected by her colleagues and had an unwavering commitment to her craft. Wanda's legacy extends beyond her professional achievements; she was a loving matriarch whose family was her greatest pride and joy.

She is survived by her two devoted sons, William Jones and Warren Jones, who cherished her wisdom and guidance. Wanda also leaves behind her brother, William C. Hollingsworth, Jr., who shared a special bond with her throughout their lives. Her grandchildren, Joanna Burchett, Michael Jones, Byrann Gilbert and Damon Clarke fondly remember her warmth and loving spirit, while her great-grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter Burchett, Mason Jones and Colton Gilbert brought light and happiness to her later years.

Wanda's family is devastated by her passing but comforted in the knowledge that she touched so many lives with her kindness and love.

Wanda will be dearly missed but will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to helping others.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, William Hollingsworth and Beulah Courson Hollingsworth
