It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Michael P. Prevatt, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left us on July 11, 2025, at the age of 47. Born on September 26, 1977, in Orange Park, FL, Michael lived his entire life in the community he loved.
A dedicated mechanic and the proud owner of his own business, Michael was known for his incredible skills in everything from fixing old cars to tackling home remodeling projects. His passion for woodworking was matched only by his love for working on motorcycles. He found joy in every project he took on, pouring his heart and soul into the things he loved.
Michael was a devoted husband to Angela, with whom he shared 31 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised three amazing children: Kyle, Bella and Dustin who were his pride and joy. Family was everything to Michael, and he cherished the time spent with his many nieces and nephews. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, he had the ability to light up a room and was truly the life of the party.
Michael's protective nature made him a pillar of strength for those he loved, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Michael was preceded in death by Mother: Mrs. Linda Prevatt
Final arrangements are entrusted to Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home, 1811 Idlewild Ave., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 (904) 284-9696.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Michael's memory.
