Glenn "Jake" Prevatt was born at Tinker Air Force base in Midwest City, Oklahoma on July 12,1969. He passed away from this life on July 27, 2025. He was an organ donor, so was able to give life to others.

He was baptized in the Presbyterian church in in Midwest City and attended there growing up.

He grew up in the Ridgecrest neighborhood, attended school at Ridgecrest Elementary, Monroney Jr. High and graduated from Midwest City High School. He played and excelled in soccer, baseball and golf all through school.

He was employed at John Conrad Golf course and worked there for over 40 years. He taught many young people in Midwest City how to golf and all the etiquette that goes with it.

Jake had a '68 Ford Mustang that he bought, restored and prized for many years. He was a stickler about keeping his lawn manicured and enjoyed working in the yard.

He loved his family and all of his many friends, his hunting dogs, camping, country music and our little Chiweenie dog, Nicky.

He is survived by his wife, Paula, her daughter, Amanda, granddaughter, Callie, his mother, Lynn, sister, Dawn, nephews, Jake and Sam, and his uncle, Dale. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph (Jake).

Glenn was an all around great guy! He always did the "right thing" and was just a genuine good human being. Some of my fondest memories of Glenn were opening nights of deer season. We'd get our big camp fire going and sit around listening to Meryl Haggard, laughing, and telling tall tales; Glenn's big belly-laugh was The Best! Whether it was hunting quail, turkey, or deer, he always wanted the other person to get theirs first or get tthe most. If we hadn't seen each other in awhile Glenn was always the one to reach out to check-in and make sure everything was okay. I'll miss those conversations AND his always present laughter. I loved Glenn. Doug Ollar

Glenn was a fantastic neighbor! My Dad was so happy when Glenn moved next door to him. He mowed his yard 3 times a week at one point, it´s beautiful! The love he showed for his family was great, I like watching him open doors for Paula, such a gentleman! He will definitely be missed.
