Wanda Kramer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home on Jan. 12, 2026.
Wanda M. Kramer, 93 of Jefferson, died on Friday, January 9, 2026, at The View in Johnson Creek.

Wanda was born in Janesville, WI, the daughter of Alfred and Evelyn (Peterson) Gordon. She graduated from Jefferson High School and married Frederick Kramer on June 1, 1956, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Jefferson. The couple enjoyed 68 years of marriage, until his death in August of 2024. Wanda lived her best life, while enjoying the weather in sunny Florida - "snow-birding" for 22 years. She enjoyed being outdoors in general, played cards often, and took many gambling trips. Wanda was loved for her easy-going and friendly personality. She never met a stranger and she loved to talk. Throughout Wanda's life, she was appreciated everywhere she went, and while at The View, she was deeply liked by both staff and residents. She was loved in life, and will be missed, but her family is thankful that she is now at peace.

Wanda is survived by: her daughter Patti (Dot Guensch) Kramer of Jefferson; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and her brother Ross Gordon of Farmington, MO. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Her parents, husband, brother Ron Gordon and son Scott Kramer preceded her in death.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of both The View and Rainbow Hospice Care for the loving care provided Wanda and her family!

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Peter Kesting presiding. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church. Wanda and Fred's remains will be placed at Rock River Cemetery in the spring.
