Wanda Lefler Obituary
Wanda "Kathy" Lefler, 72, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. The daughter of the late Harry C and Evelyn Brothers Lefler, Kathy was born February 9, 1951, in Frankfort, Kentucky. She worked for many years as a Fruit of the Loom employee but retired from Yokohama in Versailles, Kentucky. Wanda was always into country and gospel music and loved her dog, Addie Gayle.
Wanda is survived by her brother, John (Pamela) Lefler; a niece, Penny (Joedy) Vest; nephews, Joshua Lefler and Noah Rassenfoss; and her great great nephew, Caleb Lefler.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Pastor Donna Whortenbury officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort. Serviing as pallbearers will be Noah Rassenfoss, Kaylee Canterl, Joshua Lefler, Caleb Lefler, David Johnson, and Joedy Vest. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the funeral home.
A Special Thanks goes to Dr Hicks, his office staff, and Bluegrass Care Navigators for their love and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators at 1733 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40504.
