Wanda E. Morrison, 64 of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Canton with her boys by her side.
Wanda was born April 26, 1961, in Coshocton to the late John Leslie and Bonnie Carney (Brayden) Morrison. She graduated from Newcomerstown High School and she went on to work as a weaver for Longaberger Baskets. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Wanda loved to crochet blankets and ornaments, she loved crossword puzzles, SweeTarts, and she read her bible every day. She loved to go thrifting and play games on her computer. She was an amazing cook and she also loved taking her sons out to dinner every month. She was an amazing grandmother and loved babysitting her grandkids.
She is survived by her children Kristopher Andrew Wright, Kacey (Zach) Wright, and Tyler (Taylor) Elekes; her grandchildren, Jayden, Kobe, and Tripp Wright, Weston Elekes, and Raylynn and Carter Bobb; her siblings Clifford Morrison and Tammy (Ronald) Poirier; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda Morrison.
A graveside service will be held at West Lawn Cemetery on Thursday June 12, 2025 at 1 pm officiated by Evangelist David Kenney. There will be an hour of visitation at the Addy Funeral Home from 12 to 1 pm prior to the graveside service.
